Guidelines and General Information

  1. Stalls are available only for sellers of food, drink, plants and flowers who produce the items themselves, on land owned or leased by them and within a 30-mile (50km) radius of Tavistock.
  2. Unloading of vehicles must be completed before 8.30am and loading cannot commence before 1.00pm.

  4. All vehicles must be away from the market area by 8.45am.

  6. Produce must be displayed within the stall itself and must not be placed on the paved area in front or to the side of the stall, unless prior consent has been obtained from the Market Manager.
  7. The information you have supplied on the Food Hygiene Checklist will be supplied to WDBC Environmental Health Department, who will inspect the Market on a regular basis. It should be noted that it is the responsibility of stallholders to comply with current food hygiene regulations at all times.
  8. Only produce certified by the Soil Association or other National Certification bodies can be labelled as "Organic".
  9. The current fee for a stall is £25 per market. Tavistock Farmers Market Association reserves the right to alter this, by giving one months notice, as and when it feels necessary.
