The stalls
used at the Farmers Market are owned and managed by the Farmers Market
Association. The Association are happy to make the stalls available for
use by other organisations, when not in use at the market!
There is
a charge, which is outlined below, which covers such things as the assembly
of the stalls at your event, insurance and depreciation/repairs.
Conditions
of hire:

The stalls will be erected and dismantled by Tavistock Farmers'
Market Association at the venue and time specified in the agreement.

The stalls must only be used for the purpose and at the venue
stated in the application.

The stalls must not be moved or dismantled by the hirer.

The hirer will be responsible for paying for any damage to the
stalls and subsequent repairs incurred by the Association due
to the negligence of the hirer or accidental damage incurred during
the hire period.

In the event of the last minute cancellation of bookings the Association
reserves the right to make the full charge. In the event of a
cancellation within seven days of the above dates the Association
reserves the right to charge for expenses incurred up to the full
charge agreed.

If, in the interests of safety, the Market Manager/Stall Erection
Team deem that weather conditions prevailing on the day of the
event make it unsafe to erect the stalls then the Association
will not be held responsible for loss of profits caused through
this decision.

A deposit of 50% of total cost is required at time of booking,
the balance being payable fourteen (14) days before the event.
Failure to pay to these terms will result in the cancellation
of this agreement.
